From the valley floor below Causey Pike
is easily recognisable, looking like the four knuckles on
a clenched fist. The view from the top however gives the
walker a panoramic over most of the northern fells and further.
Skiddaw can be seen to the north, Derwentwater and Cat Bells
to the east, Newlands Valley and Robinson to the south and
Crag Hill and Grisedale Pike to the west.
