We are delighted to welcome our new Head Chef, Mark Dickson, to The Pheasant. Mark has run the kitchens and created dishes in many highly rated Hotels and Restaurants and joins us with a 2 Rosette and Michelin background. He loves living in Cumbria where he can indulge his passion for foraging for excellent local produce. In his spare time, he enjoys the hills and mountains and competes in triathlons. For a special event – or just an excellent meal in beautiful surroundings - the Fell Restaurant is an ideal location. The Bistro, meanwhile, offers the same quality and a wide range of dishes in a less formal environment while in the Bar, guests can choose from a traditional menu for something great to eat along with a pint of real ale or a glass of good wine.
The Pheasant also offers a Private Dining option for up to 20 people, creating a private dinner party environment for your guests and a menu can be created with our Head Chef to suit any occasion.
We are a dog friendly hotel and we allow dogs in the bar and lounges.
