We are absolutely delighted to share the news that our fine dining Fell Restaurant has scooped two coveted AA Rosettes.
Head Chef Jonathon Bell only took up his position at The Pheasant at the start of the year and to be awarded two rosettes and after just ten weeks in post is truly fantastic. We are very proud of the excellent food Jonathon produces each day and really pleased to see The Pheasant recognised for all the hard work and effort we put in to preparing and serving exceptional Cumbrian food.
As you may know, the long-established AA rosette scheme aims to recognise high quality cooking across the UK, with only about 10% of all restaurants in Britain being of a standard that is worthy of even one rosette. Two rosettes are awarded to excellent restaurants that aim for and achieve higher standards of cooking. Two rosette restaurants serve food where a greater precision is apparent in the cooking and where there has been obvious attention to the sourcing of quality ingredients.
Our Fell Restaurant offers indulgent fine dining in an elegant and beautiful setting. With dishes such as Goats Cheese Parfait, Honeycomb and Potato Tuile or Roast Cod, Jerusalem Artichoke, Mussel and Saffron, we hope we can tempt you for dinner soon.
